Who am I?

Hi! My name is Alex Campagne and I was born and raised in Erie, Pennsylvania. I grew up skiing, spending time with my Nana and Papa, and baking with my mother in the kitchen. When it came time for college, I knew I wanted to travel far and explore new places! This is how I ended up at the University of Georgia as a northern transplant.

When I first began my collegiate career, I was confused on what I wanted to study like many others. I knew I wanted to work in healthcare, but did not want to be on the clinical side of the spectrum. This is how I discovered Public Health which is truly the best of both worlds. I am able to help larger populations while still being actively involved in health and well-being.

Education

I am a current third-year student at UGA studying Health Promotion with a minor in Gerontology and a certificate in Data Fluency. Thanks to dual-enrollment credits, I will be completing my undergraduate degree a year early and graduating in the Summer of 2026 from the UGA School of Public Health.

I am also a Double Dawgs student who is working towards her MPH with a concentration in Health Policy and Management. I have already taken several classes for my MPH including epidemiology, health policy analysis, and introduction to health policy and management. I plan to earn my MPH in the Summer of 2027 from the University of Georgia. After graduation, I plan to work in the field of healthcare consulting.

During my time at the University of Georgia, I have taken several classes and courses surrounding Health Promotion and Public Health. They include Foundations of Health Promotion, Community Health, Professional Writing for Public Health Careers, Research Design and Methods, Health Promotion Program Development, Health Data Literacy, Health Data Fluency, and Intermediate Biostatistics.
